The 2024 APEX iron range has been joined with the AI200 and 300 irons, which add range performance and forgiveness.
I would like to review what kind of performance the new model with a new AI face has Thailand.
APEX AI 200 Irons
Test Hitting Club
7-Iron Loft 30°
The AI200 iron is a model made based on the compact shape of the tour model in the APEX series, but it is an iron that is characterized by high distance performance and ease of ball rise because it has a hollow body and a loft.
The APEX PRO irons released last year had a hollow body but a loft of 33 degrees for the 7-iron, so the distance performance was normal.
The AI200 irons have improved the face of the APEX PRO irons and have a slightly larger body loft to significantly increase the distance.
When I actually hit it, it was easy to hit a high trajectory even with a strong loft, and I measured a total of 165 yards in the test hitting room.
The AI200 irons are designed not only for distance performance, but also for optimizing the amount of spin, so I felt that it was easy to hit a high trajectory.
Design and feel
The body and face of the AI200 irons are forged, so they have a responsive feel with little bounce.
The face structure is the same as that of Paradigm iron, so it has high repulsion and high distance performance.
Normally, a face with high resilience will have a stronger bounce, but the AI200 iron's special design gives it a soft feel.
It has a slightly larger shape than the tour model APEX PRO irons, but it has a sufficiently compact head size for a clean design.
APEX AI 300 Irons
Test Hitting Club
7-Iron Loft 29°
The AI300 irons have a semilage-sized head and a larger goose for more forgiveness and automatic flying.
The face of the AI300 irons is also designed to allow for moderate spin, allowing you to hit a high trajectory that is easy to stop on the green while improving distance performance.
In the test room, it flew a little more than the AI200 iron, and measured a total of 170 yards.
This model is recommended for users who are looking for distance performance and high forgiveness for iron shots.
Design and feel
The AI300 irons also have a good feel with the ball with a suppressed bounce, and it was fun to hit the ball as if it could be crushed.
When you actually hold it, the goose is larger than the previous APEX DCB irons, so the design is more forgiving.
Last year's APEX CB, MB, and PRO models were compact tour models, but the 2024 AI200 and 300 irons are models with added jump.
Please give it a try!
