PING i530 irons reviews

The 2024 model i530 iron has been renewed as a tour iron with a focus on sharp appearance.
I would like to review what kind of performance the i530 irons have, which have a soft feel and a sharp design while pursuing distance performance.

Test Club No. 7  Loft 27.5°
The new i530 irons have a lower center of gravity than their predecessors, allowing you to hit a stable distance even if you miss a hit.
Since the weight is equipped on the toe side of the head, the moment of inertia is high, and the stable head behavior makes it easy to hit.
When I actually hit it, it was easy to distinguish the trajectory with moderate operability, and I felt the strength against mishits with stable head behavior.
In terms of the structure of the head, I thought it would behave more automatically, but surprisingly it is easy to move the head and easy to hit.
In the test room, the spin rate was low, but the launch was high, and a total of 160 yards was measured.
The shaft of the test club was a heavyweight DGS200, so I think that the distance will be extended even more if it is a lightweight Modus 105.
The i530 irons are attractive models with high distance performance, moderate operability, and a soft feel.

Design and feel

When I held the i530 irons, I felt that the slim neck and thinner top blade had a sharp shape and were easy to hold.
It has a long blade and a wide sole width, but it is devised to look compact, so I think you can hold it without discomfort.
Although the head is made of composite material, the feel is soft thanks to the vibration absorber, and the sound ribs give it a discreet and calm sound.

i525 Irons

I was using the i525 irons from the previous game, but due to the high distance performance, the amount of spin was low and I could not stop on the green on the course.
The i530 irons have a loft of 1.5 degrees, which lowers the center of gravity to raise the launch angle and make it easier to stop the ball, but in practice, I would like to evaluate it by using it on the course.
When comparing the designs, the i530 irons have a sharper shape and a cleaner impression.
This model is recommended for users who want to fly irons effortlessly and for users who want sharp shapes for their flying irons.

PING Tour 2.0 Chrome Irons shafts

Shaft Spec (S)
Weight: 77g   Torque: 2.7
PING's lineup of genuine custom shafts ranges from carbon to steel.
The popular PING Tour 2.0 chrome is available in only one type for your irons.
The weight range is only in the 70g range, and the flex is also available only in S.
Before I tried it, I had an image that it was unreliable because it would be light for an iron shaft, but it was a more solid shaft than I had imagined.

The flex is S and the torque is 2.7, so it is hard and the shaft has little flex.
If you think that the iron will hit the ball from the top of the grass, you don't have to worry about hitting or losing if the tip is so hard.
It is a shaft that is hard and does not shake even when actually hitting, so I felt that it was good to be able to drive it firmly.
Please give it a try!
